Don’t you know that Codesmith Technologies was once known as Codesmith Software Development Services?

Why Codesmith?

The principals of Codesmith Software Development Services are sons of poor mechanics, carpenters, tinsmiths and blacksmiths. When the sons came of age, their fathers are still poor… and so the sons as well (what da ya expect?). The only difference is, the young ones are now working in air-conditioned rooms while their old counterparts were toiling, sweating under the smouldering sun. While the fathers were hammering horseshoes and anvils, the sons are pounding (sometimes literally during their black mood fits) keyboards and mice.

One day, the sons pooled their resources and talents together and formed Codesmith Software Development Services in July of 2003. They first focused on developing database applications powered by Visual Foxpro. They started from there and slowly expanding their services into web development and eventually to computer/electronic repairs up to anything that has to do with computers and electronics.

It is no longer just software anymore. Thus, the name was changed accordingly. The “Sofware Development Services” were dropped and was replaced by a more generic term, “Technologies”.

Load of thanks to a good dude, George M. Although Dale is widely credited for conceptualizing the Codesmith logo, George made "Codey" (the computer codesmith) came alive.
